Dance festival

An offering of Dances at the splendid Perur Temple
Natyanjali, the dance festival at Perur, is back, presented by the Rotary Club of Metropolis, Coimbatore. On October 10, look forward to enjoying Odissi exponent and Padmasri awardee Madhavi Mudgal. The day will also showcase Bharathanatyam by students of Kudhambalam Dance School, Coimbatore and dancers from Abhinava Dance Company, Bangalore. October 11 will feature more Bharathanatyam, first by Kum. Karunasagari, followed by a Bharathanatyam Dance Drama by students of Kanaga Sabai School of Fine Arts, Chennai. The final performance of this day will be by Noopur, a Kathak exponent from Bangalore. Entry is free. The dance events commence at 6 p.m and go on till 10 p.m on both days.
